How we came to work at home...

... and live the lifestyle of our dreams.

My name is Sean, and you can see a picture of my wife and our 2 children over on the right. Together we are a typical American family.

Our home for the past 18 years was in Portland Oregon. I say WAS because we are currently traveling through Latin America and don't have a "home".

Don't feel sorry for us...it is by choice that we left our home. Many find it hard to believe...some think we are down right crazy while others tell us they envy our decision to change our lifestyle.

Many people tell us they'd love to travel more, spend more time with their kids, or work from home...but are unsure how to do it.

We understand, we faced these same issues ourselves as we looked for ways to follow our dreams. But we found the solutions and are now free to work anywhere, show our kids a world they never imagined, and spend time as a family.

On August 1st of 2008 we left Oregon heading south, first California, then Costa Rica, on to Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Uraguay, and Argentina.

For the next year...or two, we plan on traveling throughout Latin America.

The months leading up to this we spent our time selling our home and furnishings, selling our vehicles, having garage sales, and quitting our jobs.

We are homeschooling the kids, staying in touch with family using Skype, and following our heads and our hearts.

We are not sure where our journey will take us or what great adventures are in store for us...but we will enjoy the travels.
