Bacon Pizza with Blue Cheese

This bacon pizza combines the classic flavors of bacon and blue cheese. We prefer using a traditional tomato sauce, but you can also make this pizza by simply brushing the dough with olive oil...either way these classic tastes work great on a pizza.

Ingredients:

• 1/3 Cup Pizza Sauce
• 1 1/2 Cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese
• 3 oz Blue Cheese, Crumbled
• 5 Slices Bacon, Cooked and Crumbled
• 2 Tbs Basil, Fresh, Chopped

Directions:

1. Cook bacon, drain excess oil, and crumble
2. Spread pizza sauce evenly over pizza crust
3. Layer mozzarella cheese, blue cheese, and bacon
4. Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown
5. Top with fresh chopped basil before serving
