Chicken Pizza Recipe w/ Feta Cheese


This chicken pizza recipe is simple and uses ingredients that are likely already in your kitchen. You can find additional recipes here.

Pizza is not considered healthy by the health conscious crowd, but it does not need to be that way. There is nothing inherently unhealthy about pizza, flour, water, salt, and yeast are the basics to create a great tasting, low fat crust, and a simple sauce can be easily made using fresh tomatoes, garlic, spices, and fresh herbs.

Piling mounds of high fat meats and cheeses on your pizza is not healthy…but piling them on top of lettuce is not healthy either.

Using a low fat protein like skinless chicken will make this chicken pizza recipe as healthy as most meals you serve your family.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Pizza Sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Cooked Chicken Breast, Diced
  • 1 1/2 Cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • ½ Cup Feta Cheese, Crumbled
  • 3 Plum Tomatoes, Seeded and Sliced
  • 1/4 Cup Sliced Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Sliced Green Bell Pepper
  • 1/4 Tbs Oregano
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Pre-cook chicken breast
  2. Dice chicken
  3. Spread sauce on pizza dough
  4. Layer mozzarella cheese, feta cheese, chicken, tomatoes, bell pepper, onion ingredients on pizza in order shown
  5. Sprinkle with oregan, and salt and pepper to taste.
