Easy Homemade Pizza

Crab Pizza Recipe

We love this crab pizza recipe for appetizers. It is delicious and rich tasting, and is a real treat for your guests. This dish is perfect for holiday parties, but is also well suited for any occassion where you want to impress guests.

Using fresh crab is best, we prefer to purchase lump crab meat from our local grocery store or fish monger. However, crab is expensive so using an alternative may be more practical. We have found Costco frozen crab an economical choice, and most stores carry imitation crab.

If frozen crab is used, be sure to thaw and drain very well to remove as much excess moisture as possible. This will prevent the crust of your pizza from getting soggy.
