Easy Homemade Pizza

An easy pizza crust...even a 6 year-old can make it !

This is an easy pizza crust to make! It uses ingredients that you will have in your kitchen pantry, and will make a great pizza for you and your family.

How easy is this recipe? My 6 year-old daughter can make this recipe! I wanted to provide a dough recipe that was so easy it was “adult proof”, and here it is…

My daughter’s name is Gigi, and she loves to help in the kitchen. She is always telling me “I can do it dad”, “I can do it”…meaning get out of my way and let ME do it.

One day the two of us were in the kitchen making dinner, I was doing most of the work and she was patiently asking me “what’s next?” She also threw in a few “I can do it dad’s”, and that is when I got the idea to try this experiment.

The next day I told her we were going to make pizza dough, but that she was going to do it all! That I knew she could do it, and I was not going to help. I told her what ingredients to get, told her what kitchen utensils she needed, and then talked her through the process.

There were a couple of times when I reached to help her…but she was quick with the “I can do it dad” and I backed off, remember both my promise to her and my little experiment.

The result? We had a very delicious cheese pizza for dinner that night. Gigi was very proud of herself, and so was I. She told both her mom and brother that she had made the pizza without dad’s help…and told most of our friends and neighbors over the course of the next week, regardless if that was the topic of conversation or not.

So, if you want an easy pizza crust that even a 6 year-old can make…here it is.
