Easy Homemade Pizza

A Garlic Pizza Sauce Recipe that is quick and easy to prepare

This garlic pizza sauce recipe is quick and easy. The butter gives it richness, although you can substitute additional olive oil if wanted.

There is nothing better than the smell of garlic sauteing on the stove. The smell drifts throughout the house, eventually reaching the noses of the kids...what's for dinner echoes from an upstairs bedroom.

The flavors are subtle, and I think they get lost when cheese is added to a pizza using this sauce. Use this sauce for a simple veggie pizza, the combination of garlic and butter with the fresh vegetables is delicious.

If cheese is used, add the vegetables to the sauce while sauteing to coat them lightly with the sauce. Remove from pan and reserve. Pour sauce over pizza dough, add cheese, and top with the sauteed then bake.

The same procedure is also wonderful with shrimp. Add the shrimp to pan eo coat the shrimp and remove from heat...the shrimp will cook when added to finished pizza and baked.

You really can't go wrong with pizza and garlic. Try your own ideas using this sauce, or add additional spices and flavors to the sauce itself.
