Ginger Dough Recipe

Here is flavorful dough for those that like Asian flavors. This ginger dough recipe uses fresh chopped ginger to give the dough a unique, wonderful flavor! Ginger is available in the produce section of your local grocery store. Try combining this pizza with Teriyaki Chicken or other Asian influenced toppings.

The following recipe for pizza dough will make enough dough for one (1) approximately 14 inch (large) diameter pizza. You can scale this recipe to any quantity you like and that will fit your equipment. For example, if you want to make 2 large pizzas simply double all of the ingredients.

Ingredients:

• 2/3 Cup Warm Water
• 1 Tbs Vegetable Oil
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 Tsp Active Dry Yeast
• 1 Tbs Chopped Fresh Ginger
• 1 Tsp Sugar
• 2 Cups Bread Flour

A bread flour is higher in gluten and will give this crust a nice, crisp texture.
