Mushroom Pizza Recipe

This mushroom pizza recipe uses 3 kinds of mushrooms, garlic, and blue cheese to give a unique, delicious flavor.

Feel free to substitute your favorite mushrooms for those in the recipe. You can use the same type of mushroom if your prefer, but I like to use different types to add texture and flavor.

Mushrooms are high in vitamins and minerals, low in fat, and studies have shown they reduce the risk of prostate cancer.

Ingredients:

• 1/2 Cup Pizza Sauce
• 2 Tbs Olive Oil
• 3 Cloves Garlic, Crushed
• 1/2 Cup Buttom Mushrooms, Chopped
• 1/2 Cup Shitake Mushrooms, Chopped
• 1/2 Cup Portobello Mushrooms, Chopped
• 1 Cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese
• 3 ounces Blue Cheese, Crumbled

Directions:

1. Saute chopped mushrooms in olive oil
2. Add chopped garlic and saute for 2 minutes
3. Spread pizza sauce evely over pizza dough
4. Layer mozzarella cheese evenly
5. Spoon sauted mushrooms evenly over cheese, crumble blue cheese over entire pizza
