Easy Homemade Pizza

Peach Pizza with Brown Sugar

This peach pizza is sure to please both young and old alike. Peaches and Pecans are a classic flavor combination, and the brown sugar provides a flavor similar to a classic peach cobbler.

Canned peaches work very well with this recipe, so if fresh peaches are not available substitute canned. Drain and rinse the canned peaches.

This is a great dish to serve as a breakfast pizza, try it for a Sunday brunch or anytime you want to put a little "wow" into your morning meal.

It can also be used as a dessert pizza, very much like the Peach Cobbler that grandma use to make.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbs Honey
  • 3/4 Cup Pecans
  • 2 Tbs Brown Sugar
  • 4 Fresh Peaches, sliced - or equivalent canned, rinsed

Directions:

  1. Brush dough lightly with honey to cover the top
  2. In a food processer grind pecans into a coarse meal
  3. Blend brown sugar into Pecans
  4. Spread mixture over crust
  5. Top with sliced peaches
  6. Bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until crust is golden brown
