Strawberry Pizza
The
kids will love this strawberry pizza!
You will find it difficult to get them to eat
only 1 slice…
Our
family loves strawberries, during the summer months
when fresh strawberries are available we will make this pizza often.
Strawberries
are available all year long in grocery
stores, but they are often bitter.
Add
the sliced strawberries to a small bowl and add a tablespoon of sugar
or honey,
mix well, and then follow the direction as described.
My
wife also likes to make this for her girlfriends.
If we have frozen dough in the refrigerator
she can prepare this quickly, otherwise she makes the dough ahead of
time and
adds the topping at the last minute before her guests arrive or she
leaves for
her party.
All
of the ladies love this treat. It
never lasts…
Ingredients:

Cup
|
Ricotta
Cheese
|
|
1
Pint
|
Strawberries,
Fresh, Sliced
|
|
1
Tsp
|
Grated
Orange Zest
|
|
2
Tbs
|
Honey
|
Directions:
In
as small bowl mix ricotta
cheese and orange zest
Spread
mixture on
dough, leaving a ½ inch border
Layer
sliced strawberries
over ricotta cheese
Drizzle
honey on top
Bake
for 10 minutes
