Vegetable Pizza Recipe


This vegetable pizza recipe uses simple, fresh ingredients. It is quick and easy to prepare and has loads of flavor.

Vegetable pizza's are low in fat and high in nutrients, but try substituing low fat cheeses to reduce calories even further if this is a concern. Use a whole wheat pizza crust to add additional flavor and nutrition.

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 Cup Pizza Sauce
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 1/2 Cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/3 Cups Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Large Tomato, Slice Thinly
  • 1 Medium Onion, Slice Thinly
  • 1 Cup Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Basil, Chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Fresh Oregano, Chopped
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Spread sauce evenly over pizza dough
  2. Sprinkle garlic over pizza sauce
  3. Layer mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese on pizza
  4. Layer tomato, onion, mushrooms, and sprinkle with chopped herbs
  5. Salt and pepper to taste
