Easy Homemade Pizza

Whole Wheat Pizza Crust


This whole wheat pizza crust is made with 100% Whole Wheat flour. Whole Grains have increased in popularity in the past couple of years.

There is less protein in most whole wheat flour, so the dough will not be as elastic as dough made with white flour. We use vital wheat gluten to help hold the dough together. Most grocery stores and natural food stores carry this ingredient.

If the dough tears when rolling fear not…just piece it together and proceed as usual.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 Cup Warm Water
  • 2 Tbs Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 Tbs Vital Wheat Gluten
  • 1 Tbs Sugar
  • 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour

Follow your preferred Dough Mixing method.
